palm-cay-landing-page-propertiesPalm Cay is a collection of luxury beach-side properties in The Bahamas. They came to The Marketing Garage with the goal of generating more interest and ultimately selling more homes.

The Problem:

Palm Cay’s most popular page, “Homes” was missing photos and information, which meant users were leaving the site before exploring the properties at a deeper level. This is a crucial action before a potential buyer considers a half-million dollar second home.

The Solution:

We designed a new landing page with updated visuals that would show off the property as a whole then feature the individual home options down below.

After a brief overview paragraph, the page was designed so that the potential buyer could quickly see more detail about the home options available to them.

We ensured that consistent call-to-actions were placed throughout the page, each one allowing a potential buyer to dig deeper into the details of the home of their choice. These were designed as bright green buttons so that they pop off the blue colour scheme of the page.

Magic Moment

Our keyword research showed high traffic for the term “Ocean Living” and as a result we wanted to make sure we got that term high up on the Home page. This is when we came up with “Turn Ocean Living Into Ocean Loving” which became the main branding focus of the page.

Eye-Catching Visuals

We wanted to make sure that the luxury homes for sale looked as gorgeous on a computer screen as they do in real life. By using large visuals and professional photography, we were able to capture the beauty properties surrounded by white-sand beaches, palm trees, and clear blue waters.

Logical Design Structure

Our research showed us the most viewed pages, and therefore, pages users were most interested in. This allowed us to structure the page in an easy-to-view, top-down layout with a priority on Condos, Homes, Townhomes, and so on, following user interest.

The Results:

Increases in new sales leads, goal finishes, time spent on the site and content interest.
